Where are they Now

Each year I am amazed at the progression of those I have been lucky enough to work with.

Below is just a sampling of some of the players I have trained, and where they are now...

US NATIONAL TEAM POOL
:  Just 1 of 2 players who will represent Virginia for the USA in Brazil (early) and Argentina (later) in 2011 at the U17 level.

Isabelle ("Izzy") Byers, Wakefield School, Class of 2012 (committed to play soccer at Princeton).

I have worked with Izzy both as a trainer and as her Head Coach (Wakefield, Spring 2010) and her playing resume is only eclipsed by her work in the classroom.  Click here for her current player proflie.

Here, Izzy receives one of her many awards, in Spring 2010, she was named First Team, All State.  Fall 2010, Izzy and her team were State Cup Champions!

COLLEGE, Club
:  Jack is very good, but at UVA, Jack is happy to play club and focus on his studies.

Jack Byers, University of Virginia, Class of 2013.

Jack can drop a 70 yard ball on a dime, and he defines the word "coachable!"  Jack, a Captain's Captain, was instrumental in creating a culture of success during my two years as Head Coach of the Boys Varsity at Wakefield.

Jack's accomplishments include All-State Honorable Mention.

COLLEGE, DIII
:  Now in her Sophomore year...

Gracie Withers, Lynchburg College, Class of 2014.

I have worked with Gracie as her Head Coach (Wakefield, Spring 2010) and in my career, I have never worked with a more complete warrior.  Gracie's status at Wakefield is legendary for her buzzer beaters on the hardcourt.  Here's a link to her current web page:  https://www.lynchburg.edu/x27301.xml

Gracie, as one of Lynchburg's newest Hornets.

ECNL, U16g:  Just the proud dad, this is my daughter, who happens to have a bit of pace..

Mary Stewart "MS" Pierson, FC Virginia '95, Freedom High School, Class of 2014.

Lina Granados, Class of 2012.

I have worked with Lina as a trainer.  Here's a link to her current web page: http://www.mcleansoccer.org/roster_player/show/89424?subseason=7406

LOUDOUN TRAVEL:  Two of the hardest working players in Loudoun, I coached both at Wakefield and have worked with both as a trainer.

Brad Eblin, Wakefield, Class of 2012                                 Anna McLaughlin, Class of 2014.

Great Kids with a bright future!
