Message from the Head Coach:

SYC Pride United is a U13 Girls side with a roster of 16 players chosen from nearly 80 veteran travel candidates during 3 days of intense tryouts in June of 2010.  The new name, SYC Pride United, was chosen to reflect what is effectively a new team, with a new coach, comprised primarily of players from the former SYC Pride Blue and Gold teams with representatives also considered from the SYC Whites and Reds.  Each year, the process will repeat, with United having the privilege of choosing from the best of her 3 sister teams (now the SYC Pride Fire, Panthers, and Pumas) to ensure continuity and reward for the hard work of the entire SYC Pride family.  Of course, great and aspiring players are always welcome regardless of where they're from!
